dBriefd ("we," "our") operates the dBriefd mobile app and website. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account data: email, password (hashed), topic preferences, delivery settings. Usage data: app opens, briefing views, playback events. Device data: device type, OS version, app version. Payment data is processed by Apple/Google; we do not store card numbers.
To deliver your daily briefings, personalize content, process subscriptions, improve the app, and support you. We do not sell your data. We do not display ads.
The dBriefd website (dbriefd.app) uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregated traffic: for example how many people visit which pages, roughly where visitors are located (region/country), and how they move through the site. Google may use cookies or similar technologies and process data according to Google's privacy policy. We use this information to improve the site, not to identify you personally in the app.
We use: Apple (App Store, payments, sign-in); Google (Play Store, payments); hosting providers; and, on the website, Google Analytics 4 as described above. We may share data only as necessary to operate the service or when required by law.
Account data: until you delete your account. Usage data: anonymized or deleted within 24 months. Payment records: retained for legal/tax reasons.
You may access, correct, export, or delete your data. In the app: Settings → Account. Or request via contact@dbriefd.app. EU/UK users: you may withdraw consent, object, or lodge a complaint with your privacy regulator.
We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS, TLS) and secure storage. We do not sell or share your data for advertising.
dBriefd is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Data may be processed in the EU, US, or other jurisdictions. We use appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) where required.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via app or email. Continued use means acceptance.
