Delete your account

dBriefd users can delete their account at any time from the app: open Settings, go to the Account section, tap Delete account, and confirm. Deletion is permanent: your login is removed and your account data associated with the service is deleted. You will be signed out and will need a new account to use the app again. This page describes the same steps in more detail.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open dBriefd and sign in.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Scroll to the Account section (you'll see your email, Change email, Change password, Log out, and Delete account).
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Read the confirmation, then confirm if you want to proceed.

After a successful deletion you will be signed out and returned to onboarding / sign-in. You cannot undo this from the app.

What "deleted" means

Things we don't promise in vague "legal" language

Device copies: Cached content on your phone (e.g. offline briefing cache) may persist until the app clears it or you uninstall / clear app data. Deletion as described here is focused on your account and server-side data associated with that account.

Third parties: Where the app uses providers for sign-in, email, AI, or audio (as described in our privacy policy), only what those providers store under their policies may be outside this in-app delete flow — your privacy policy should be the place for that detail.

If you cannot use the app

Email contact@dbriefd.app from the address registered on your account and ask for account deletion. We may need to verify ownership before processing the request.
